Which ASL Class?
If a class schedule works for you,then determine your purpose for learning sign:
- Do you want to sign with your infant or toddler? (Sign with your Baby class)
- Are you or your loved one living with hearing loss? (ASL for Aural Rehab class)
- Do you encounter the Deaf community in healthcare? (MEDICAsL class)
- If none of the above apply, watch the video below to determine which class is right for you.
Then visit the Online Registration page for enrollment or the home page calendar to see when classes are offered.
- Read below to determine which class may be best for you. ***If you can understand this video without difficulty, your signing skills are more advanced than any of ASLasl's class offerings.***
Mimes and Idioms
From watching the video, can you at least determine the topic? If yes, enroll in Mimes and Idioms to increase your expressive skills.
If not....
ASL 101
From watching the video, can you at least recognize 10 signs used? If yes, enroll in ASL 101 and learn to put vocabulary into conversation.
If not...
Community ASL for Adults
From watching the video, do you at least now see how communication can be achieved without using your voice? If yes, enroll in Community ASL for adults and learn about ASL from ground zero.
